| That's what panelists told non-believers at yesterday's SIOR luncheon at the Rosewood in Rosemont. Duke leasing VP Susan Bergdoll explained that the I-88 corridor is just 12% vacant, down from 15% at its peak. The corridor (where Duke has 400k SFto lease) has the advantage of being near the homes of many of the executives who have offices or warehouses there. CenterPoint's Jim Clewlow says that his company continues to see intermodal as the way of the future. We hope so, since it just invested in 6,000 acres in Joliet for an intermodal site. | |
