Under New Management

Development Management Associates, founded about three years ago, has now officially launched a property management division. When Centrum approached the team about managing the property it consulted on at The Roosevelt Collection, DMA's Mike Levin andJason Westrope decided they'd take up the assignment, in addition to starting up a new venture with their partners at JMB Financial Advisors called dma|property. The new division already has two more assignments downstate, the Shoppes at College Hills in Normal and the Shoppes at Grand Prairie in Peoria.
 
dma|property won't be looking at just any property to manage. Jason and Mike say they'll be selective and tend to stay within their specialty areas of retail and mixed-use properties, depending on their existing clients' needs. They're looking at two new ventures— one in the suburbs and one in the city—to expand their property management base. By partnering with a leasing team and having a principal accessible to clients, dma|property's hoping to supplement the client base of its parent development and consulting firm.
