Architect HOK was recognized by the Turkish American Chamber of Commerce and Industry - Midwest last month for its projects promoting Turkey, as well as contributions toward sustainable design. HOK's Cagri Kanver, born in Turkey, says the firm has had success overseas, recently completing the design of the Kempinski Astoria Retail Center in Istanbul.
