Here's the collaborators taking a break from a busy Wednesday: Dan,Elaine Melonides, Bill Rogers, David Roberts, and Cedric Thurman  shared with us a recent focus: Tenant rep has exploded since its merger with Staubach  one year ago. (Former Staubach leader Steve Stratton  wanted to chat, too, but was out of town.) JLL employs 1,600 people in the Chicago area.

Elaine has worked in JLL tenant rep since 1990. Three years ago, she was joined by Bill and a team from CBRE. They focus on large corporate clients taking more than  40k-SF and are hoping to grow their small and mid-sized business. Cedric has also spent two and half years writing a diversity plan and is now implementing it through company-wide  podcasts that coach team members on how diversity contributes to success.

Another growth area is David's project management  team, which helped bring to fruition two of the nation's three LEED-Platinum-EB buildings (the McDonald's campus in Oakbrook and 550 W. Washington). Dan also emphasized the work being done in the Value Recovery Services division, which is helping reposition assets in the recession. Thanks to Brian Sutton for the photos.
