| After 100 years, it's time to start thinking about a new city plan, says Chicago Metropolitan Agency for Planning's Randy Blankenhorn, who?ll be rolling out the new Go To 2040 plan next fall. He spoke at yesterday's CoreNet luncheon at Maggiano's. CMAP is making the rounds, polling local residents on infrastructure improvement, and Randy urged the real estate community to think about sustainability, taxes, and affordable housing. He hopes people will look back on the plan with as much reverence as we're currently bestowing on the Burnham's. |
| We snapped this group because it's the last time, for a while, we'll see Steelcases' Terry McAllister bipedally. Here with tvsdesign's Sarah Busch, Office Concepts' Brenda Nielson, and Steelcase's Deb Machalski, he plans to join Steelcase co-workers from St. Louis on the annual RAGBRAI bike ride across Iowa. Sarah, meanwhile, will be helping tvs pursue government work back in Chicago. |
