ComEd’s Smart Ideas for Your Business® program now offers incentives for commercial real estate properties. The new program assists multi-tenant buildings in overcoming the challenges that can prevent energy-efficiency projects from moving forward. ComEd’s Smart Ideas for Your Business program manager Joel Freehling says it provides a tiered bonus based on the total level of savings achieved in the property. Other assistance available includes toolkitsfor engaging tenants, incorporating energy-efficiency measures into capital plans, and identifying energy-saving opportunities.
