Jones Lang LaSalle spokesman confirmed a Crain's report yesterday that Northern Trust has sublet 207k SF from Bank of America at 231 S. LaSalle St. The lease still leaves 3.6M SF of sublet space on the market.
 
BofA started marketing the space in 2009, after acquiring LaSalle Bank in 2007. The building has been owned by Gramercy Capital Corp since 2008. JLL declined to comment on the transaction, in which its brokers repped both the sublessee and sublessor, while reps from New York-based Gramercy could not be reached on Wednesday. The 940k SF building is now 86% leased.
