We know summer in the city is a great time for networking, and so does YREP, which gathered at District Bar to make a few new friends. We snapped Sheridan Park Group's Peter Delp, The Habitat Co.'s  Katherine Elliot, Perkins Eastman's Jason Mundy, and ECS's Peter Domenico. Katherine reported that Habitat recently won a new construction management assignment at Gary Housing Authority in Gary, Ind. Perkins Eastman is working on a new senior living facility near Illinois State University in Bloomington.
A good sign for young professionals: J. Patrick Realty's Daniel Welch just got his first job, straight out of college. He was at the event with colleague Michael Wexler (right) and Tartan Realty Group's Michael Chin. Michael is the tenant rep for CorePower Yoga, which recently signed for spaces in Bucktown, Lakeview, and Park Ridge. He's also working with Meatheads, a new burger concept ("like Five Guys, only way more awesome") that's looking for space in Chicago.
