The original cupcake bakery Sprinkles is about to open in its ninth city when it opens its new DC digs this Thursday. Founder Charles Nelson paid us a visit at Bisnow HQ Monday and brought with him two boxes of treats, including these emblazoned with the Bisnow logo. Sprinkles is also in other Bisnow markets including Beverly Hills, Chicago, Dallas, Houston, and is set to open in NYC this summer. (You may also recognize Charles’ wife, Candace, a judge on the Food Network’s Cupcake Wars.)
