We ran into JLL Chicago managing director David Hendrickson and Houston colleague Holly Minter recently in Atlanta. David tells us he’s securing $72M in development financing and JV equity for construction for a 315-room hotel in Nashville, a market he says is hot (and not just because Taylor Swift lives there). When its new convention center hotel opens in 2013, it'll have pre-sold one million room nights. What’s good about hotels for David: He has such a big family (four kids) that they actually need 315 rooms when they travel.Holly just joined JLL to work on capital markets with managing director Paul House. Holly, who's done more than $6B in CRE financings since 2000 and will focus on multifamily, tells us it’s a good move for her: The collaborative work environment will allow her to better serve her national clients and strike a balance between work, family, and faith.
