SMALL BUSINESS FEMPOWERMENT

Former Apprentice contestant Stephanie Castignier (with ConopCo Project Management's Lisa Schultz) was in town last week, telling members of CoreNet Young Leaders how to market to women. Now working on community development and small business lending, Stephanie says women are making the majority of the consumer decisions in America today. She encourages retailers not to think of "pink"as a marketing campaign but instead to focus on multi-tasking and consumer-friendly design when trying to sell a product to women.
 

ConopCo's Aris Hantgos and Jackie Libricz recently teamed up with OM Workspace's Steve Callen to build out and furnish a 16k SF office for Northwestern Mutual in Lombard. ConopCo is also building out Penny Pritzker's new private office. They won't tell us what's in there, but we hear it's very high end, like a Hyatt Regency.
