The new Streeter Place at 533 W. Ohio opened on Saturday. The 53-story luxury apartment is 20% leased, with about 25 tenants already in. Golub's Michael Newman says the building was planned during the first condo boom, when everyone thought they were nuts to be building apartments, but now it's the perfect place to rent in the posh Streeterville area. They're also really proud of the blue-green panels, which stand out amongst surrounding brick buildings. The building offers efficiency through three bedroom floorplans for $900+ a month.
