SIOR CELEBRATES SPRING (FINALLY)

It's not warm enough for beer gardens yet, but SIOR membershosted their spring Meet & Greet last week with 90 members and guests at the law offices of Liston and Tsantilis. We snapped Jones Lang LaSalle's Keith Stauber chatting with McShane Cos'Jim McShane, who we just learned is working on the new FFC buildout for 52k SF at Presidential Towers. Keith's industrial team members just won the Chicago Greater Food Depository award forInnovative Deal of the Year with their Navistar warehouse in Joliet.
 
To demonstrate that those trade show stress balls have multiple uses, Venture One's Roy Splansky did some fancy juggling for our camera. Venture One's VK Industrial fund acquired two new buildings this month: a 17k SF building at 420 W Wrightwood in Elmhurst and a 32k SF building at 3100 Tollview Dr, also in Elmhurst. Roy's a chapter director-at-large when he's not busy juggling work and family (and other things).
