McShane Construction accepted two safety awards recently, one from the Builders' Association and one from the AGC, for 286k hours without an '08 lost time accident. On hand: McShane's Jim McShane, Vic Bishop, Dennis Rumshas, Mathew Dougherty, and Jeff Raday. It's good news for seniors who will be living at Senior Star at Weber Place, a 348-residence senior community in Romeoville. McShane recently finished Phase One, housing 77 Memory Care apartments, designed for residents with Alzheimer's and dementia. Phase Two—271 independent and assisted living apartments—is on schedule for fall '09. |
