Colliers Bennett & Kahnweiler recently released its mid-year industrial reports, which indicated that Chicago Metropolitan's industrial vacancy rate has risen to its highest point in 10 years:11.68%, up from 11.08% last quarter. Bright spots included vacancy rate decreases in the I-80 and I-55 corridors and 1.1M SF of new leasing in the south suburbs, including this 250k-SF facility for Roosevelt Paper in Alsip. |
