Related Midwest Gives Back

We love hearing about members of the commercial real estate community making the holidays a little brighter. Related Midwest matched $3,000 worth of toys given by its employees for a total contribution of $6,000 in gifts to SOS Children's Villages annual holiday giving program. The donation coincides with SVP of construction Don Biernacki's appointment as 2014 board president of SOS. Related Midwest also raised more than $150k for the org this year through its annual charitable golf outing. The toys they donated were distributed directly to SOS families, which typically include five or six foster children (often biological siblings) and a full-time, professionally trained foster parent.
