Steelcase's Michael Smith and Terry McAllister showed off their mediascape, a couch/table combo that allows conference rooms to be set up comfortably and with multiple laptops connected to a TV. Steelcase, based in Grand Rapids, MI, gets most of its materials from a within small geographic radius. In addition to going green, it’s trying to adjust its projects to fit into a “post-cubicle” world, focusing on where furniture is throughout its lifestyle and better reusing pieces after they wear out. |
