After a run at Maurizio Trattoria in NYC and the long-awaited, fire-delayed opening of Riccardo Enoteca in Lincoln Park, restauranteur Maurizio Michi will open his first solo venture in Chicago at 616 S Dearborn in the Printer's Row neighborhood. Jameson Commercial completed the five-year lease of the 1,960 SF space, with Chris Irwin repping building ownership and Katie Whelan repping Maurizio. Katie tells us the concept is upscale Northern Italian cuisine that is slated to open this summer (with an outdoor patio, natch). All we want to know is: will there be spaghetti for Lady and the Tramp-style smooching?
