Chicago's last Crunch gym, at 939 W. North Ave, was bought out by Fitness Formula Clubs. U.S. Equities' Geoffrey Euston and Brian Lafer repped FFC in acquiring the 54k-SF, bringing leasing at the 200k SF mixed-use North Avenue Collection (where U.S. is also the property manager) to 90%. FFC plans to upgrade the three-story facility to be consistent with its brand. Just in time for post-Thanksgiving guilt workouts.
