After 20 years at Studley, Joe Learner says he no longer gets comments about the firm's somewhat unusual name, although people do forget his last name and call him Mr. Studley. The user-side only firm employs 45 in Chicago, focusing on strategic planning, leasing, and project management. The firm recently represented Robert Morris University in the renewal of its 401 S. State Street site. While even the tenant side has been affected by the current recession, Joe says he likes the conflict-free platform because it's more stable. He's also seen a slightly less competitive industry for tenant reps since Staubach merged with JLL last year. |
