MMCC Thinks Big With Krawitz Hire

Marcus & Millichap Capital Corp tapped Charles Krawitz as VP, central region, managing operations from Texas to Michigan out of the firm's downtown Chicago office. Previously national director, correspondent products group for Fifth Third Bank, Charles tells us MMCC is looking to deepen its Chicago presence, where the market's on the upswing and distressed product is largely in the rearview mirror. He sees MMCC's dominance in the $1M to $10M lending space as a springboard to larger transactions and notes their comprehensive access to capital from specialized hedge funds to credit unions to CMBS shops and life companies. Charles is active on the boards of City of Hope's Real Estate Action Committee and SomerCor 504. In his limited free time, he's been expanding his horizons by reading about hydroponic farming and digging into how food is grown, processed and marketed.
