Micro-Unit Apartment Rentals Coming To West Loop

The micro apartment craze is coming to the West Loop. Gateway West Loop will include a dozen 399 SF apartments when it opens this month, the smallest modern apartments available downtown. Lennar Corp believes micro units at the 17-story tower at 11 S Green will appeal to residents who split their work time between Chicago and another city, reports Chicago Real Estate Daily. With a $1,595 monthly rent, these units are pricey but they’re situated in the heart of the bustling West Loop dining and nightlife district. [CRED]
