AIRE’s new president is saying “Yes, we can!” to volunteer work. Chicago Industrial Real Estate's Matt Rogatz has already taken members of AIRE to Vital Bridges, where the group distributed food to HIV and AIDS patients in the Chicago area. He's also planning on teaming up with SIOR to take part in Chicago Cares, where volunteers go to Chicago Public Schools to help with maintenance. We're told more opportunities will also be available during the year and close to the holidays. Matt, whose two-year-old company specializes in urban infill industrial buildings, says there’s benefit beyond the obvious heartwarming feeling you get: spending time with AIRE members has helped him close deals. |
