Lincoln Property Wants to Redevelop 16 Acres in Oak Brook

Dallas-based Lincoln Property and Foxford Communities of Hinsdale have big plans for 16 acres in Oak Brook. The mixed-use site at 22nd Street and York Road includes three empty parcels and nearly 207k SF in office and retail space. The Lincoln/Foxford partnership bought the property from a JV between John Buck and New York Life Real Estate Investors, according to Crain's. Lincoln VP John Grissim says the location near Oak Brook’s thriving retail hub is a positive, while the new owners are in talks with tenants for existing office space and may build condos on the site.
