Leopardo Cos announced three new projects: construction on the new Valley Forge Park and Field House, a 10k-SF LEED-Silver structure at 7001 W. 59th Street; completion of Walgreens first-ever Chicago office space, 20k-SF at the Sullivan Center; and the groundbreaking of the $6.4M LEED-Silver West Humboldt Park Branch Library at 733 N. Kedzie (above). The library will use geothermal heating and cooling as well as a modular green roof, and is slated for completion in December 2010. Leopardo also won three awards this week—two for safety and one for corporate social responsibility recognizing its community service efforts. |
