Inland Group Buys $217.5M in Retail Properties

Inland Real Estate Income Trust was busy in Q1 2015. The REIT announced it bought 11 multi-tenant retail centers in nine states totaling 1.2M SF of commercial retail space and $217.5M in purchases. Among the properties are the Shops at Hawk Ridge in St. Louis and Plaza at Pleasant Prairie in Pleasant Prairie, WI (pictured). Inland’s total portfolio at the end of Q1 consisted of 42 retail properties in 16 states totaling 3.8M SF and an aggregate purchase price of $663M.
