Happy 29th Jonathan

Today we’d like to say happy birthday to Jonathan Hobfoll, head of Bisnow’s Chicago and Toronto offices. He's turning, no joke, 29. (Actually turning 29 is like having a girlfriend who can't visit because she lives in Canada. It may be true, but nobody will believe you.) Jonathan, a reformed lawyer (he worked with the NY attorney general on the subprime mortgage investigation) joined us in 2011 to escape staring at contracts and do what he was really meant to do with his life: play broker baseball (his shoulder is still mending from diving for a short fly this summer, and ended his season with Golub & Co). He’s also a voracious reader, basketball player, and he spent the summer learning to sail. His other hobby—eating. Jonathan has been on a Chicago Magazine brunch kick lately, spending his disposable income on the mag's most recent top 20 brunch spots. Hungry? Jonathan.hobfoll@bisnow.com.
