Holiday shopping was not deterred by a fire on Michigan Ave Friday.
 

The electrical fire broke out in this Sephora in Northbridge Mall at Michigan and Grand on Friday at 8am.  Michigan Ave was shut down, but reopened by 10:30am. The fire was contained to the store, according to Macerich (the mall's owner), and all other stores opened as planned, bringing out an above-average holiday shopping crowd to the four-story, Nordstrom anchored center.
