Energy (Super)Star

The 425-475 Woodfield Center complex in Schaumburg has received an Energy Star designation. The property is leased by CB Richard Ellis and managed by Lincoln Property. CBRE's Mark Smith  credits the ownership (an affiliate of General Electric Pension Trust), along with the manager and tenants for helping get the designation. The 700k-SF complex now has a building automation system, which controls and monitors energy usage, as well as individualized heating controls.
