Another pre-crash lakefront residential development proposal has risen from the ashes. Plans for the 18-story Bluewater 5440 in 2007 called for 187 condo and townhome units and 329 parking spaces. Greystar Development submitted a revised proposal cutting 74 parking spots, adding three more units and shifting them from condos to rentals. The proposed development at 5440-50 N Sheridan Rd fell through after the market crashed, according to DNAInfo. Greystar will soon begin outreach to neighbors seeking support for the project and discussing changes. [DNA]
