DIFFA's Fine Dining

Design Industry Foundation Fighting AIDS hosted its annual Dining By Design event this weekend. Architects, contractors, and furniture companies donated designed tables and raised money through silent auctions  for the three day event, which included cocktails and a Saturday night dinner at the tables. We snapped Conopco's Jackie Libricz  and  Lisa Schultz  with Leopardo's Dan Ulbrict and Conopco's Lydia  and  Bill Conopeotis. Leopardo is working on the construction at the Scottish Rite Cathedral  in the northern suburbs (the whole building, not just the tables).

The Dobbins Group brought reality TV stars to their table. We snapped Dobbins' Alex Vayman, Alicia Ponce, Mandy Salman,The Bachelorette Jillian Harris (yes, she helped design the Dobbins table), Susie Dobbins, and  Tom Dobbins. (The Apprentice'sStephanie Castingier had dropped by earlier.) Dobbins recently started working on the 10k SF Grand Appliance building in Naperville and is designing the Royceman School in Evanston. Mandy recently joined the group from DSI.

Here are some of our favorite tables:

By HALCON/Carnegie  and  OWP/P Canon Design.

By Kehoe Designs.

By CS Interiors  and  NEFF of Chicago.
