A record-setting crowd of 270 men and women gathered at the Standard Club last week to honor Colliers EVP Lynn Reich, who received CREW Chicago’s 2016 Industry Leadership Award. From the moment Lynn stepped up to the podium to the strains of Sister Sledge’s We Are Family, the crowd was in for an entertaining evening. Lynn (left, with Cresa Chicago VP Linda Short) traced her illustrious career as a trailblazing woman in the field of industrial leasing. But it was her leadership roles in many professional organizations, such as SIOR International and CREW Chicago, which displayed Lynn’s true passion for giving back to the commercial real estate industry, especially to women. Throughout her career, Lynn Reich really did have all her sisters with her!

Following the keynote presentation, CREW Chicago announced its 2016 scholarship winners: Jessica DeWitt (pursuing a law degree at Northwestern University), Lillian Harris (a graduate student at Roosevelt University’s Marshall Bennett Institute of Real Estate), and Danielle Sassower (pursuing a MBA from the Kellogg School of Management). Each young woman received a $3k scholarship from CREW Chicago. Congratulations to all!
