No, the NAI Hiffman staff isn't hitchhiking after a rough day at Rivers. To help support green initiatives, they spent a day picking up trash at Cricket Creek Forest Preserve in Addison. The park used to be a flood-prone housing development but was redeveloped into a park to preserve wetlands. This is NAI's third year volunteering at West Suburban wildlife preserves. |
