City of Hope to Honor JLL's Dan Ryan

In a year-long effort to raise money for cancer research, JLL's Dan Ryan has helped real estate pros donate more than $450k for City of Hope, the Duarte, Calif.-based hospital and research campus. He'll be honored with the Spirit of Life award at a dinner at the Palmer House Hilton tomorrow. We snapped Dan with City of Hope's Sara Maraccini, who has been helping bring together the real estate community for the  1,000-person dinner. Dan has spent the last eight months working on  phone-a-thons, parties, and other fundraisers. Dan even traveled to California and was inspired by the body and soul approach to healing. He's being honored for excellence in the real estate industry as well as his years of work with other charities like the Cara Foundation and the Martin Luther King Jr. Remembrance and Celebration Dinner in Chicago.
