Chicago Title SVP and manager Ed Burton tells us the company is settling in nicely at its new 10 S LaSalle St digs. To show it off, the company recently hosted an open house party for 500 people. After 20 years at the building that bore its name (now just called 161 N Clark St), the title leader was looking for an aesthetic change to reflect its healthy growth. It built out more efficient space, basking in the exciting vibe of the financial district. The energy-friendly downsize, which houses 280 employees, went from 105k SF to 90k SF. CBRE was the project manager and move coordinator, with HOK as the architect and Bear Construction as the GC. Ed reports Q1 was a "nice surprise for us" and new orders have been coming in at a very good pace.
