CBRE's Finkl Fiesta 2013

May 3??? More than 60 CBRE volunteers turned out for the 2013 Finkl Fiesta Spring Carnival at CBRE Chicago's adopted school, WIlliam F. Finkl Elementary. CBRE has partnered with the Pilsen/Little Village Chicago public school since 2009. Over 550 students and parents braved the rainy weather and had a blast (it was definitely more fun than study hall). On the menu this year: popcorn and snow cones (just what the doctor ordered). And after perusing the petting zoo and joking around with Ding Dong the clown, the best part was "sink the teacher" in the dunk tank! (Ah, sweet revenge.) CBRE supports the school year-round through mentorship, reading programs, library improvements, music education, and much more.
