Building a 24-story building on top of a 31-story building is as hard as it sounds, but that's what Goettsch Partners' Joe Patrick, John Buck Co.'s Jim D'Amico, and Walsh Construction's Lou Rosetti have been working on for 3.5 years. The Blue Cross Blue Shield building, just north of Millennium Park, due spring '10, was always planned for 55 stories, but the insurance giant started out with 31.
