The Dobbins Group's Alex Vaysman has always had to adapt to different situations, something he now applies that to his design-build work in Chicago. Born in Belarus, Alex moved every three years with his Army father and came to this area in high school. He earned a college internship building a Holocaust museum in Israel by sending in his resume, along with a paid-for plane ticket and arrangements to rent an apartment. Then he learned to adjust to language and cultural differences on the job. |
Alex found familiar flexibility in Dobbins and how it adjusts to fit clients' needs rather than convincing them to buy into a design. With the recently-added general contracting function, he's also becoming an expert on the build side, plus he's gained the firm business, such as a new office build-out in an industrial flex building in Sauk Village. |
