Matt says lately he's sold a handful of buildings in the city (like a 47k SF building at 47th and Kedzie) at really low prices—as low as $1.50/SF. Owners are more willing to take a hit on the property so they don't have to pay for the heating or for companies like Howard's emergency maintenance shop to take care of the buildings over the winter. |
