Zifkin Realty's Yvonne Jones never planned on being a real estate pro. But a suggestion from a friend who knew Yvonne spoke German led to an interview with a Swiss company hiring a manager for 200 US post offices. By '06, she had joined Zifkin and experimented in brokerage before Ed Zifkin opted to start a property management team, to diversify in case the market turned sour. Now, she's EVP, managing her own office of professionals, covering more than 2.5m-SF of retail and corporate space, with possible expansion into multifamily. The only downside: Yvonne says she hardly has time to visit her lake house in Michigan.
