Matthew tells us that he’s wrapping up the bidding process for the 399-unit apartment building at 320 W Illinois St in Chicago’s River North Neighborhood on behalf of Waterton Associates. He says it is a great value-add opportunity and the buyers will make a substantial investment in the property. It will be well worth it, he says, because the Chicago multifamily market has very strong occupancy and rent growth, which has led to high transaction volume.
