New $11M Hotel Opens In Rock Hill

St. Louis-based Midas Hospitality has opened an $11M, 115-room Legacy Suites hotel in Rock Hill, South Carolina, the Charlotte Business Journal reports. The four-story, 64K SF hotel overlooks Interstate 77 and is about 25 miles south of Uptown Charlotte. Midas Hospitality will manage the hotel. Its sister company, MC Hotel Construction, built the property.

Rock Hill, in York County, is experiencing a resurgence in hotel development following a seven-year drought. The 108-room Fairfield Inn & Suites opened in February. The Fairfield Inn is owned by GBC Rock Hill, which contains equity from Warren Norman Co. and others.
