The two-story, 64k home of Automated Trading Desk and the 18-acre Charleston, SC, campus it sits on recently sold to New York-based American Realty Capital for more than$27M.

The sale comes to about $462/SF, regarded as the highest ever paid for premium office property in the Charleston area. A team of Charlotte CBRE brokers arranged the sale of the property, which had been owned by Charlotte's own Flagship Capital Partners, now Brackett Flagship Properties. ATD, founded in 1988, creates and develops systems and software for automated stock trading. It's a wholly owned subsidiary of Citigroup.
