Boston is still hungry for food halls, and one planned for the Financial District promises plenty of local flavor.

Developers are joining 160 Federal St. and 100 High St. with High Street Place, a 20K SF food hall in a five-story atrium between the two buildings. The $30M space will include a mix of 20 local chefs, restaurateurs, brewers, winemakers and coffee roasters.

“Top Chef” alumna Tiffani Faison, known for her variety of award-winning Fenway restaurants, is venturing out of that neighborhood with two concepts at High Street Place.

“This was the perfect opportunity to hit the gas on some of the concepts that bounce around my head — I have wanted to do a super fun raw bar forever, and the desire to do pizza has been keeping me up at night for years,” Faison said in a prepared statement. “Just like our restaurants, delivering something that is pure fun, while using great ingredients and technique, is where we live.”

Faison’s Big Heart Hospitality Group has plans to open Dive Bar, where the chef plans to feature a mix of New England dishes as well as Southern cooking she picked up while living in New Orleans. The company also plans to open a pizza and grinder sandwich concept, Tenderoni’s, in the new venue.

Other concepts slated for High Street Place include Daiquiris & Daisies, a cocktail bar by Darren Swisher and Joseph Cammarata, who are both behind the bar program at Hojoko in the Fenway. Fuji Sushi, organic food-focused Farmacy Café and popular downtown burger restaurant Wheelhouse are also planned, among other concepts, for the food hall.

Gensler and Philadelphia-based Groundswell Design Group designed High Street Place while Rockpoint Group, Rockhill Management and CANAdev make up the development team. Boston Realty Advisors Managing Director and partner Whitney Gallivan led the leasing of the project.
