Boston University sold its 890-seat theater and two adjoining properties at 246, 252 and 258 Huntington Ave to QMG Huntington LLC for $25M.
Proceeds from the sale will be reinvested in a new performance space on the school's Charles River campus, the Boston Business Journal reports. The Huntington Avenue theater complex was built in 1925 and BU has owned it since the 1950s. No word on what the new owner plans. [BBJ]
