Waltham Property, Occupied By Desert Boot Maker, Bags $40M In Financing

1265 Main Street LLC and Boston Properties obtained $40.4M in permanent leasehold financing for 60 Tower Road in Waltham. Colliers International's Boston Capital Markets Group facilitated the deal for the asset, which is a 120k SF LEED Gold creative office property at the 1265 Main project.

The building is the corporate U.S. HQ of Clarks Americas Inc., a subsidiary of C&J Clark International Ltd., a global shoemaker, designer and retailer known for its Desert Boot.

60 Tower Road is a primary component of the redevelopment of the former Polaroid Corp. campus. The Clarks Project is the first-phase office component of the broader 1265 Main master planned development, which features Market Basket, Starbucks, Marshall’s, Jake n Joe’s, Not Your Average Joe’s and Flank Steakhouse.
