Paradigm’s New Love for the 'Burbs

As an investor, Paradigm Capital Advisors has always been a city kid; “urban-centric,” says chief investment officer Steve Allison. But at Bisnow’s Future of the Suburbs summit, Sept. 10 at the Granite Links Golf Club in Quincy he’ll tell why he’s acquired two suburban office complexes in the past eight months. Three weeks ago, Paradigm closed on the former Concord Farms, 80% vacant. The reason is job growth. The appeal is the opportunity to pick up quality properties at a “great” basis; reposition and rebrand them, says Steve, who also recently purchased an office building on the Charlestown Somerville line.
