Condos Planned In Roslindale Near Forest Hills Cemetery

Nabil Boghos and Charles Gill of Walk Hill Residences are planning a 136-unit condo development at 289 Walk Hill St in Roslindale, on an 87k SF lot comprising four separate parcels. The Walk Hill Residences would include one four-story building and one five-story building, plus 147 underground parking spaces and 18 surface parking spaces. 17 of the units would be affordable, with the rest at market rate, the Boston Business Journal reports.

The Roslindale site is near permanent greenspace in the form of the historic 275-acre Forest Hills area, which includes Forest Hills Cemetery (pictured), St. Michael Cemetery, Mount Hope Cemetery and the Boston Nature Center/Massachusetts Audubon Society. Embarc Studio of Boston is the architect. Construction is slated to begin this spring and finish by summer 2018. [BBJ]
