We won't see Olympics again until 2012, but competition is still strong. CBT Architects and Equity Office Properties brought home the bacon from the International Interior Design Association?s annual Interior Design Awards. Among the honors was ?Best in Show? for the renovation and repositioning of the lobby at One Post Office Square. The entry for the 830k SF tower received a Pilkington structural glass wall, a setback increased the lobby size by 30%, and elevator banks were redesigned in dark fumed oak with white glass and stainless steel accents. The team also placed first in the Hospitality category for Equinox Fitness at 225 Franklin St. Michael Phelps came in second in both categories.
