| Don't you just love when someone does your job better than you? In this case, we're talking writing. Recently, we asked you to tell us what inspires you about Baltimore. A poem (of sorts) by Ekistics CEO Caroline Moore:A harbor that reaches far into the belly of its downtown, A rich history of immigration, revolution, industrial growth, Downtown majesty, civil rights, renaissance, and ethnicity. And Baltimoreans, you just gotta love Baltimoreans…OK, so Caroline didn't intend that as a poem, but with some clever line breaks, we forced the issue, and we think it works nicely. She wraps up her thoughts: "Where can you go to get the sparkling lights of your night picture and the rich history and diversity that is quintessentially Baltimore?" |
